Comments: Hiya Michael! I'm normally into '80s rock and stuff. I'm 15. My girlfriend got me into your music, first starting me out with "The Music Of The Night" and I have gotta tell you, your voice is magnificant. You really have a great voice. Your other songs, like Phantom Of The Opera are very good :D You've inspiried me. I sung The Music Of The Night to my mom the other day, that was the first song I sung to her and she loved it :) But even I cannot do my voice as you, you have a gift there, bud :D Well, God bless. Thanks for giving me such an inspiriation and the words from your songs of how I feel about Leona :) [I love you forever, Leona ^^] Your songs have just yanked the words right out of my mouth of what I have to say about her, especially The Music Of The Night and Unexpected Song. Take care of yourself.

Comments: Just saw the DVD movie of 'Phantom' but felt it was lacking without you in it. Can't understand why Joel Schumacher didn't want to cast Sarah Brightman and you, YOU are the only Phantom. Think you're marvelous. Would have loved to see you and Sarah immortalised (or at least your voice-overs)in that film though...

No-one compares in the role of Phantom.

Comments: Dear Michael Crawford,

I think your voice is wonderful. I have never seen your starring role The Phantom Of The oprea , but my parents saw if when it first came out. They told you were great. Then when I was eleven years old I when to go see the Phantom Of The Oprea and you werent playing the role, but I still loved the play. After that , my dad got me the soundtrack and I loved it. I'm hoping to send you a letter , telling u how much i enjoy your singing. I REALLY REALLY REALLY you could come on broadway again . So, maybe I can take my kids . I know I am going to tell my kids about you and I'm sure they were tell their kids that , but then again I'm only eleven years old. But I just wanted you to know if you are reading this that I think your voice is really the ' Angel Of Music ' !!!! Good luck with everything you do! Comments: Dear Michael, I have checked your venues up to the last concert to be posted. You are not hitting our area anytime soon. Too bad, I mean I am crushed. I was lucky to get the IN CONCERT DVD though and I thought, well, if I can't go at least I'll have it on DVD of this beautiful man and his beautiful voice. So, I watched it and it was better than listening to the CDs (Magical) and it was like having my own private concert in my living room. I am telling this is so hard to describe that I get chills up my spine. I wish with all my heart to be at your concert and to hear your voice and to get that experience at least one time in my life and I'll be happy. Oh yeah did you figure out about the JETS tshirt.. and I saw it under the gifts in NOTES #57.I was happy you got it anyway. I expect a full report on it.. (Just teasing) A pix would be cool of you in that tshirt. Happy wearing! AND good luck on Concert Tour 2005!

I'm the one in regards to that JETS tshirt.. hope you figured it out by now.. happy wearing and GOOD LUCK on the concerts for 2005!

Your letter was really sweet and no the photo did not end up on the dartboard as you suggested. I now have children of my own and my daughter is just as enamoured with Hello Dolly as I was. We even named our cat Cornelius! Would love to see 'Some mothers' return with Frank as a grandfather. Glad you have become so successful and wish you all the love luck and happiness in the world. Thankyou for making me smile Melissa

I have seen "Phantom of the Opera" 3 times(unfortunately you weren't in the show at the time:( However, I did get to see you in "Dance of the Vampire" and thought you were fabulous! You have such a great singing voice. I hope you are feeling well...I heard a while back that you were ill. Also, this is a stupid quesion, but are you left-handed? In the picture at the top of the website you have a pen in your left-hand? I am left-handed so I am always curious when I see other lefties! Take care and God Bless, Berna

Comments: My son just entered his first year at Christopher Newport University as a vocal music major. At the age of five, I would get him up for school by telling him that if he would hurry and get dressed, I would put the "Phamptom" on for him to listen to. Within five minutes he would be dressed, sitting on the couch, eating a dry bowl of ceral and listening to the music with his eyes closed. Now at the age of 18, while dropping him off at college for the first time, I was so excited to be able to purchase a ticket for him to enjoy your concert in September at CNU. It made it much easier for a mother to leave her first child at a university where there will be so many opportunities to be exposed to excellence in music. I so wish that I could be there too on September 12th. But more than that, I hope that some way you will have time to stop by the music department and spend some time with these students...to inspire them with the determination to live their dreams. I have told my son that his voice is a gift from God, it his own choice what he does with it. I'll pray for saftey in your travels and wish you continued success in your career. Sincerely, Elizabeth

Although I was never able to see you perform in Phantom of the Opera, I am so thrilled to have tickets to see you at the Ferguson Center in Newport News, Virginia. For me it is a dream of a lifetime!! I'll be the "woman in red" -- a red dress that is. I listen to your CD's all the time when I do housework. I'll bet you have never been told before that you are the inspiration for having a clean house! Thanks for all the great music, your work for children around the world, and for being you. May God bless you and keep you well.

Comments: Dear Michael,

I am so happy you are coming to the States - MY state in particular - to give a performance. I'm not a very astute cyber space player and have NEVER even considered joining a fan club but, here I am. You probably have no idea how influencial you and this association can be! I had already ordered tickets for the Mesa, AZ concert but after going on line and finding this site, besides joining, I have ordered CD's, made donations to your charities, and was even able to locate your autobiography which has only served to make me not only love your voice, but the personality behind it all. Bravo and sincere, warm wishes to you during this USA tour. The audiences will love you and I hope you'll enjoy performing here, as much as we will enjoy this wonderful opportunity. If there's any way I can throw a purple flower to you - all the way from the balcony- I'll do it!!!

Comments: I have just seen the DVD of "Phantom" with Gerard Butler. Tho I was impressed, his voice is nowhere compar-able to Mr.Crawfords. However I am finding it almost impossible to find the lyrics printed as Mr.Crawford sang them. Can someone direct me to the same version as recorded by him? To Mr.Crawford; my daughter and I are now ardent fans of yours. My Mama used to say that Elvis had a voice that was "pure music". I only wish she had lived long enough to hear you. I know she would have loved you. We do.

Comments: Dear Mr. Crawford, I believe that you were blessed with teh voice of an angel. I enjoy listening to the CD's I have of you, but would enjoy watching you play the Phantom even more. Unfortunately, I was born a bit too late (1985)for that. However, I will most certainly attempt to make the concert in Virginia you are planning. I have a question, and I hope you can answer it. What year did you stop playing the Phantom? Everyone I work with wants to know as many of them have seen the performance. Thank you VERY much for your time. Sincerely, Sandy

Comments: I'm 14, and i belive you are the number one singer with a truely amazing voice. Most 15 year olds would be inspired by the likes of Greenday, Linkin Park, Maroon 5. But, no. I am inspired by you, Michael Crawford. I've seen the NYC Phantom (with Hugh Panaro). As soon as i got back i bought the CD and listened to your soothing, angelic voice. You voice makes me feel relaxed, and i feel that nothing in the world matters when i am listening to you. I love the EFX music and also the 'Only You' video. I've noticed you are doing concerts in the US, why not here in Britain? You have fans here!! Good luck to you, Mr. Crawford.

You Touched my Soul with the Phantom like nothing i have ever heard before and im glad you did.The Phantom is the greatest role ever made, i have a simple request if you dont mind me saying but would it be possible to get a couple Autographed Photo's of you,it would mean the world to me.My family and i saw you in Atlantic City and it was the greatest show,we hope to see you in Las Vegas for the opening of the Phantom Show this coming March. Comments: Hi Mr.Crawford it's me again. I just found found out about the musical "Dance Of The Vampires" I love the play!I really enjoy singing "Come With Me".I still love Phantom.I saw the movie but,I saw the new 2004 movie version and was a little dissapointed with the way they arranged the lyrics of the song like "All I Ask Of You(Reprise)",The Phantom Of The Opera","Primma Donna",And how they changed the part of "The Music Of The Night" when you sing "close your eyes and let music set you free".I say if your going to make a movie from a play, or a book, or a remake of a movie do it right and use the exact words but dont commit plagiarism. Somethings have changed when ever i mention something about "phantom" like finding tickets to see the play production(I still haven't seenit)it's like my dad doesnt like the show anymore i mean it was him who introduced me to it.I'm afraid that the show will close and i would never be able to see it.I missed it up in Baltimore and that's just about 1 hour away from my house! I hope I'll be able to catch your show in newport news virginia.I am a really, really big fan Mr.Crawford. your #1 fan, Caleb Hamilton

Comments: Hello Mr. Crawford,

I just wanted to tell you that you are THE greatest singer of all time! Here's my list. 1. Michael Crawford (WOW!) 2. Ewan McGregor (Hottie!) 3. Taylor Petersen (Another hottie that hasn't made it to the big time yet!)

But anyways, you are great! Phantom is by far my favortie work of yours. But I also love your Christmas album and I saw you as Cornelius in Hello Dolly! Wow what a change. By the way that role was recently played by my #3 best male singer ever, mentioned above, which I thought was kind of ironic. But you are a wonderful singer, actor, and person (Even though I've never met you, although I would love to!) and I admire you very much!

From a fan, Holly :)

P.S. I plan on reading your book as soon as I can get my hands on it!

The owner of the Venetian,Mr. Nathan Adelson, is one of the great Philanthropist here in Nevada and he has in my humble opinion the best hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. If you could come back here and reprise your role as the Phantom it would be extremely popular. In the meantime I wish you the best.

Comments: Michael, I have a special dedication for you. Last night due to my sinus and allergies not doubt I did a Karoke in front of a lot of neighborhood people of "Music Of The Night" and I had wanted to do for months. And even if I was near gasping, I was like how does the man do this and give so much. It is like a lullaby and a love song. You feel that it has complete power over you.Yes, I am really a non professional karoake singer but then my achievement would be do this song as a duet with you if I'm lucky enough at your concert. I mean my payment would be just to do this with you for everyone your music has done for me. My husband only likes duets that he knows and I keep saying you wait and one time I'll do it with someone it will knock everyone's socks off. Your voice is soo soo gorgeous and so are you and you're really an angel of music. Whatever you do for us, keep doing it forever. I mean, you are so giving and so special and isn't to know you is to love you? Don't ever let go of it, no matter what, always know that you have a great gift.

Comments: Hey Michael, You know I keep tabs on your venues. I am hoping that you head out my way so I can have the experience LIVE and IN CONCERT just to actually bethis close to seeing you and hearing your wonderful singing and your delightful stories. To me, you are the PHANTOM, although I never saw the play.. but I got the soundtrack and saw the movie.. even if Gerard Butler played him.. he had shoes to fill. NO ONE is the PHANTOM except for you. When I heard "Phantom of the Opera" and the words. "Sing to me!" I get chills up my neck and I am thinking, he's it.. he's the PHANTOM.. and I get tears and think.. Too bad. you can't sing to me. Instead of hearing it on the CD. You have touched me in ways I can't imagine and I finally took notice as of December and took steps to join the MCIFA officially a few months ago. I have two MCIFA bracelets which I carry one and realize it's true.. it is FREINDS.. or fans. and I've seen alot of PHantom sightings. In that time. Do keep us all posted on the rest of your planned concerts.. take care and feel better every day.

Comments: Hi Mr. Crawford, i absolutely adore ur voice and walk around the house singing phantom songs (much to my family's annoyance) i have both cds from the original london cast recording of Phantom and i have read ur book and watched every series of some mothers so many times i have started counting my toes. i reckon mr. butler can't sing music of the night as well as you. i started reading your book as i chose to do u for my autobiography speech in english and u had me experiencing two very powerful emotions, sadness and happiness (laughing one minute, crying the next). thank-you so much for all your contributions to the world of comedy, acting, singing and basiclly dramatic arts. have you seen 'Lano and Woodly'? i do recommend it, two Australian comedians who have used a lot of your some mothers acts to help with their story lines i.e. a cupboard falling on one of them, and also their sheer stupidity. you are a wonderfully gifted man and i hope to meet you one day. sincerely, Rachel Haysom (15 yr old Sydney school-girl)

I Bought 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' today because I have a couple of your CD's where you sing songs from that stage play. I was disappointed at the singing because no one there can sing as full and with feeling like you do. I love your voice. It makes me feel so good. Comments: Hi Michael, Hope your feeling better.

You may not belive this but I`m 19 years old and I`ve been a fan of yours for about 8 years. The first time I saw you was on T.V in Some Mothers Do `Ave `Em. It was really funny. All those stunts you did were amazing. I also have Barnum on DVD. That was such a great show as well, and again you did a stunt when you walked the tight rope. Amazing!

I feel really sorry for you about The Woman in White. It`s been so long since you have performed a show in the UK and then you became ill. My Mum and I were goin to book to come and see you. It looked really funny what you were playing as well. When we found out that you were not performing it anymore we booked to go and see The Phantom Of The Opera because I have never seen it before. It was a really great show. When I am older I want to put it on ice. If I can I would definaly use the CD with you as the Phantom. It`s so strong. Some of my friends have seen you in Phantom and I so jealous.

Comments: To Michael and my fellow MCIFA members,

A big hello to you all and a special thank you to the members who look after this wonderful website. You're doing a fantastic job!

Have a great time at the upcoming US concerts. I can't be there in person, but I'll be thinking of you - so I'll be there in spirit.

We are truly blessed to be brought together by such a beautiful and talented man - I know you all agree!

Take care Michael and my circle of friends. I hope to meet many of you someday soon.

Many blessings,

Faye

Comments: Dear Michael, I have been a fan of yours for about five years after I heard you sing from the Phantom on a TV program. I have three cds that I love very much. While I was visiting in Northern England recently I saw a comic series on British TV in which you played a rather funny kind of guy-not too smart. Was that really you? Keep singing those beautiful songs. Vera
