Comments: A group of us were just reminiscing and I was thinking to myself, Frank Spencer was a modern-day Buster Keaton. Imagine my surprise to see on your time-line that you'd worked with him.

Loved your sense of timing, and like Basil Fawlty, the episodes you made are the stuff of legend.

You're an all-right singer too!

I wanted to take a moment and just say how thankful I am of your friendship with mom!!

Have an Excellent & Blessed Day!!

Comments: Hello Michael-I first became a huge fan after hearing you in Phantom. I was absolutely mesmerized by your voice. Being from the Midwest, exposure to musical theater was extremely limited, so the original London cast recording was my way of experiencing your performance. I also enjoyed your performance in Hello Dolly. I am currently reading your autobiography and find it quite delightful. Via the internet, I have been able to see you in Some Mother's, which is brilliant. I also admire your charity work and the compassion you show to others. I wish you love, peace, health, and happiness.

Comments: Hi Michael, just watching some of your "Some Mother's... shows and they are hilarious. Your comedy and its topics were ahead of its time.

You look like you did many of your own stunts as well, maybe except for the roller skating! Classic English television at its very best.

Comments: Michael, Posted in Dec.2016 so maybe I am not allowed a second post. However, saw the Phantom in another showing and there is no disputing--you cannot be surpassed. I am a huge fan and have tried many times to contact MCIFA to be allowed access to updates. I own many cds, Barnum autobiography etc.etc. I am overwhelmed at all the hard work and self -discipline you have shown. The Go-Between was a huge success from what I have read, but not a surprise. I would love to see you bring it to the states. Am I out of line to request a signed picture? One more thing--no one could possibly sing Gethsemene as you do. Vivian Benshoff

Comments: May I sign the book twice? I did once in Dec. I took my daughter and grand daughter to Atlanta yesterday to see the Phantom of the Opera. As I said in the earlier posting, I saw you Michael in New York twice. The road shows are done well, but NOBODY can come close to your performance as the Phantom. I have so many of your cd's, your autobiography, the DVD Barnum which I love and I watch and listen to clips on the internet. One last comment--my favorite cd is the one on which you sing Gethsemene. I never cease to weep. Any chance of coming over the pond with The Go Between? This 80 year old fan would get there someway!

Comments: While I was never lucky enough to see him as the phantom I did get a chance to see him in EFX here in vegas and also the concert he did in 98' at mgm gand here in vegas as well. He was amazing in both, and I also will never forget getting to meet him at the mgm grand for fans to have him sign stuff, I waited for hours in that huge line, but you were so nice and signed my phantom book. And now at 33 years of age I have my own kids now that I am introducing you to them as the phantom as well. Thank you for always being such a bright spot in my life.

Comments: Hello to the MCIFA, and to Mr. Crawford!

I would just like to say to Michael, your work has absolutely inspired me in every way. Your performances in everything from Hello, Dolly! to The Phantom of the Opera are brilliant and incredibly nuanced, and as a 16 year old aspiring actor, I would love nothing so much in the world as the chance to meet you and thank you for your work, which was the catalyst for me becoming interested in musical theatre. The Phantom of the Opera means more to me than the air that I breathe, and each time I hear you sing something from the role, my heartbeat quickens and I feel like I am home. I know that it is a slim chance that I could ever be honored with the role of the Phantom, but if I ever do, it will be with respect to the deep understanding and love that you had for the man, and how much he meant to you, because as a young man who knows what he wants to do for the rest of his life, I have no one to thank but you. You have my sincere gratitude and reverence for the wonderful person that you are.

I hope you are very well, and I wish you a (soon to be) Happy 75th Birthday!

Love,Cameron

P.S. I was hoping that I might be able to send Michael a fan letter and, if it isn't too much trouble, a photograph for him to sign. What address can this be made out to?

Comments: I have been fortunate to see MC in Phantom twice in New York. Now 80 yrs old I have rediscovered him. I own many cds and dvds and have read his autobio. His talent and energy just amaze me. I have watched Barnum over and over and am on my third reading of autobio. I also want to commend him on the way he lives his life as an ardent Christian. I am sure his daughters and grandchildren are very proud of him. I would like to see him update his autobio to the present.

Comments: I still have the letter and autographed picture Michael sent me in 2004, when he was rehearsing "The Woman in White", and I treasure them. I was inspired by him even more over the last year, because I did a painting of the Phantom's mask. I would love to send Michael the painting, seeing as I can't deliver it in person. I hope someone can help me out here. Thanks!

Comments: When I think of my childhood and the tv series that we all loved, I think of Frank Spencer in 'Some Mothers Do 've em' like a big brother. This was one of the few shows that were aired in Cameroon tv and just like in UK, Frank became a household name. We even learned how to brake and spoil just like him! Awesome. I love the episode in which Frank went to attend the human resource program for five days! Not forgetting the one in which he had to call a doctor for Betty's mother. Since last week, I have been watching some great episodes of the series and it is amazing how entertaining it still is and how much of my childhood I can still remember. Thanks Michael Crawford for putting a laugh on our faces all these years and know that just like in the UK, there is a generation in Cameroon that will never forget you. Thanks.

As an aside: My Mom was in the British Army WWll stationed in Salisbury and my Dad was US Army WWll. I don't understand why somehow those two movies have not been better received. I have adored you since i fell in love with Frank Spencer at the age of just ten. I am 47 now and still love you! I am so sorry i annoyed you at the stage door of the Victoria Palace theatre in London in 1985. I was a dizzy teenager and i do hope i am forgiven for pestering for your autograph so often. I have written to you actually for forgiveness. I am a senior staff nurse now and no longer hang around stage doors!! You have given so much to so many and i hope you are looking after yourself, you are so precious. God bless you and keep you well and happy. With all my love - Jayne
