Comments: Dear Michael, I am planning to write a book about the various adaptions of the Phantom of the Opera. Along with Lon Chaney, Claude Rains, and Charles Dance, you are my favorite Phantom. I regret I was born too late to see you in the role of the Phantom. Still, I can listen to CDs and watch short videos. You really have (or had, I dunno) a magnificent voice and I like your acting very much. Your singing is a hundred times better than Gerard Butler's (the poor, he didn't get a chance). It's a shame they didn't make a movie earlier.

Comments: Dear Michael,

I'm looking forward to becoming a member of the MCIFA, and I also was able to get a copy of your autobiography. I'm currently waiting for both to arrive in the mail. I just missed you in Phantom by the time my mom was able to take me you were not playing the part anymore. I also went to Las Vegas to see EFX and I just missed you there to, you were injured I do believe. I was able to see you in concert when you came to Michigan and I really enjoyed your performance, I wouldn't shut up about it I think I drove my family crazy talking about it. I plan to write you a letter in the near future I have alot more to write. I hope you can some day come back to Michigan for either a concert or production of some sort :)

xxoo Donna

Comments: Dear Micheal, I Have been a fan of yours since I first you singing songs on the radio from phantom of the opra. I said what a beautiful voice. So every time I went into a music shop I came home with one or two your albums. I was able to collect ten plus Phantom and a Christmas album. I also read your autobiography. I really enjoyed it. You ,I ,and my husband grew up in the same era. so I understood were you were coming from in certain chapters. Are you still making albums. If not at least I have ten that I can enjoy. I remember the night you had a consert on the PBS TV channel. My husband came and said to put this channel and he wouldn't tell me why and there you were . I have that album. I still you should have played the Phantom in the movie. The scenes are beautiful but the actor who played the Phantom couldn't hold a candle to you when it came to singing. Thaks again for your wonderful albums. Lorraine in TN> USa

Comments: Hello Michael, My name is Danielle Brown and I am a huge fan of yours. I think you have an awesome voice and was awesome as the Phantom. I saw my first Phantom Of The Opera in 1997 in KC Mo. Brad Little played the Phantom and Kimilee Bryant played Christine and I cried. I loved the music and the show. I have been blessed to see the Phantom 6 times and when they were here in April 2009 KC I saw it twice. I can never see the Phantom too many times. I really excited about the new sequel coming out. I have always wanted to meet you. Would love to hear from you. Best wishes Danielle Brown

Comments: I arrived here today after hearing Michael singing 'all I ask of you'. My mam loved Michael, when I was growing up and my idiot friends were talking about Frank Spencer my mam said 'he is a talented man' people often mistake to person for the character and I felt privileged because we knew the difference and enjoyed the slapstick. My mam was a huge fan of Michael in a serious way and loved it when he was cast in the phantom of the opera, it was like the whole street knew it was a case of 'I told you so'. So, Michael, if you ever read these things, thank you!

I so relish reading your wisdom and humour and never tire of listening to your voice, over and over and...

Your gifts that you've given us freely are the kind that keep right on giving.

May you continue to share your special talent to reach into our hearts, stir our compassion, elevate our souls, and tickle our ribs for many years to come, and may the joy, love and respect you've shown your audiences all these many years, come back to you ten fold(for starters)! Here's to a year filled to the brim with health, strength, clarity, generosity and happiness.

And, if it's not asking too much, a prayer or two for the children in Haiti.

Comments: Hello Michael, I just went through the holidays again listening non stop to your Christmas album. I was given your album 4 years ago, and I get chills every time I listen to it. I knew nothing of you when I received the album, but knew that you were one of the true vocal genius's of all time. Putting away the holiday decorations, I had to put your album away again for another year. I was so sad, I decided to look up your information and see if you had any other recordings. Much to my delight, there are many. My daughter lived in New York for a time and said you are very well known! Imagine how thrilled I was. I am buying any of your music I can find on line. Thank you for giving me so much pleasure during the holidays for the last several years. I wish I knew more about where the Holiday album was recorded. Was it a play, or a concert? Thank you Again and please keep on singing!

What are the chances of Micheal Singing a song or two with Hayley Westenra? She is a great artist and their voices would go so well together.

Comments: Dear Michael.I have been a big fan of yours in the last five years. I remember Phamtom of Opera opening when i was a teenager, but unfortunatley didn't pay too much attention to it at the time. Since then my taste in music has changed and i am now mad about musicals and am obsessed with Phantom. I have seen the musical twice, but didn't get to see you starring in it. I became a big fan when i got the Phantom soundtrack for Christmas five years ago and saw the film with Gerard Butler in the starring role. To me you are 'The Phanatom'. I now have your albums and read your autobiography Parcel Arrived Safely - Tied with String. There were some things in the book i totally understood and i couldn't put it down. I would just like to say thank you because you're a great and very talented British entertainer we should be proud of!

Comments: Dear Mr Crawford,

I am just writing to thank you with all my heart for the lovely letter you sent to me. My friend Colin wrote to you back in August last year telling you how inspirational you are to me and how you have helped me so much with my aspirations. You brought music into my life and for that I am eternally grateful. When your letter was given to me I broke down to tears, I could not believe my eyes. It was so amazing to feel that someone you have idolised for your whole life would respond with such kind hearted words and praise.

I will never ever forget how happy you have made me.

Oh and by the way the picture you sent was lovely and will not be used as "a dart board!"

Thank you once more for being such a great influence on my life and helping me become who i am today,

In the words of Barnum "i like your style"

all my love forever

Comments: Hi Michael I have just auditioned for BGT and told the producer that you are my hero he said that he had never heard anyone say that you was their hero before and started to ask me why? Well the truth is you have always been an inspiration to me and many others and I told him this he then asked me too sing another song from the Stage as you was my hero and he had enjoyed my previous song. So I sang "Love changes everything" and he asked me to go and sing it live infront of the tv cameras and others waiting to audition. I got a round of applause hopefully one day I might be able to meet you if I dont get voted off. All the best Michael if you actually read this we miss you visit us.

Comments: Hello, I guess I've always been an on-and-off Michael Crawford fan; I first heard part of the original cast album of Phantom of the Opera in my 8th grade choir when I was 12 or 13, and that was the first time I was introduced to that wonderful voice! And of course, I heard it every Christmas with that great rendition of O Holy Night! I recently became interested again when I saw that Phantom documentary on Ovation. I found a Youtube clip of Music of the Night, and that lovely voice hooked me again!! Also, the covers of the Disney songs are outstanding! And then there were the Hello Dolly clips in WALL-E, which I also loved... Is Michael still performing? I have a feeling he's probably enjoying retirement now, and if so, all my best to him. If in fact he's still touring, may I suggest a concert in Arizona?

P.S: Does Michael read the guestbook?

Comments: Dear Mr. Crawford, I am a young-yet great-fan, only twelve turning thirteen soon in Sept. I have always loved Phantom of the Opera ever since I first saw it two years ago as the movie. I must say I became obsessed with it and began surfing youtube for anything that had to do with it, I of course found Music of the Night by Michael Crawford. I clicked on it and was astounded by one of the most wonderful voices I had ever heard! I stopped my obsession turning to my books and school. Until I went recently on a site this summer that excepted fan-fiction and began writing many Phantom of the Opera stories with you as my inspiration, and my obsession for the wonderful phantom took off. Therefore I started listening to the music again. Although I liked and like Gerard Butler's phantom I started listening so much more to your's. As I listened more to your's I started listening to all of your albums and realized how amazing and soul lifting your voice is! I have recently discovered the album, On Eagle's Wings, which brought me to tears because not only was it very good music but your voice made it all the more better. Since I am a teenager life can be hard and very stressful, but I find myself more often every day coming home to write (I have hopes of becoming an author when older) and listening to your voice which often relaxes me, helps me think and choose right decisions in life, and makes me very happy. Your voice is absolutely bliss, and I am so glad you have a sense of humor and such a good heart and soul! You are my favorite, besides the book, Erik! I love your humbleness, and the way you act with such passion and really put yourself into the music and your performances. I often find myself humming and singing your songs they bring much joy and happiness. I laughed so much on your Michael Crawford Live in Concert after you sang Gethsemane, good job on that long note! Although I love phantom so much I have not yet seen one performance live, I hope in time I do though, so wish me luck in seeing one and becoming a writer when older! Sincerely, A great fan, Misty

P.S. I have seen some episodes of Some Mother's Do 'Ave 'Em and I have also seen Hello Dolly, both of which made me laugh. You continue to amaze and help young and old, I wish there were more people like you on earth! (You were my real first celebrity singer and actor crush...hee hee)

I can imagine you singing this song Camelot.
