We miss you terribly and can't wait for your next project whenever and wherever that might be! You still look great and definetly younger then your physical age! People like that drive me crazy! LOLs. I hope your family and friends spoil you like crazy on your special day and don't eat to much cake. All my love to you dear, sweet Michael.

Comments: I was 13 when I was introduced to "Phantom" by my older sister and her music teacher. I only knew Michael Crawford to be that sexy, talented and tortured soul known as Erik. I fell in love with the voice and the story. Cinderella was my favorite fairy tale as a child. As an adult, the fairy tale of Erik and Christine is my favorite. Then I learned more about Michael himself. What a wonderful man to get to know! I was so shocked when I found out how incredibly funny he is. I never laughed so hard in my life. His soothing, yet confident, voice has kept me calm and inspired me at some very crucial times in my life. For example, I listened to him to relax me when I was on my way to take my state boards for my nursing license. It worked. I passed the first time. I am so grateful to my sister for repeatedly playing her practice tapes. I would love nothing more than to meet this great man. I hope that one day I have that opportunity. My niece will be in London and Kent this July. Maybe she will get the chance that I have waited for for 20 years. Have a very wonderful, safe and happy New Year Michael!

Love, Jenny(a very adoring fan)

Comments: Its been almost 19 years since I camped out infront of the Ahmanson Theatre in LA for tickets to see one of Michaels final performances in the Phantom. I was 14 and it was one od the best times in my life. I ended up making great new friends and traveling all over to see Michael in concert. I was just thinking about old times and was wondering what Michael has been doing....thus why I'm on the site. Thanks for some of the best memories one could ask for :)

Comments: A few months ago The Phantom of the Opera came to New Zealand (Anthony Warlow, Ana Marina) and I jumped at the chance to go see it. I have bought the original cast CD and I was just amazed by Michael's voice. I am only 17 and before seeing the Phantom of the Opera I guess you can say I was the typical teenager, just listening to the modern day hard rock music, but this musical, this whole production made me really wake up to the world and appreciate the small things I have in life and just amazed by everything I see now.

Thank you Michael, so so much for developing this character into who he is, thank you so much for giving me a whole new respect for the whole theatre industry and the love I now have for life.

Thank you so much.

Comments: Of all the clasical singers, Michael Crawford is my favorite and comes out in front by far compared to others I also like.

I first saw Michael act in the Comedy Show "Some mothers do 'ave 'em" and after then hearing Michael as 'The Phantom' have found him to be a major source of inspiration and influence in my own style and vocal develpment.

Michael is a God send.

Comments: Dearest Michael I appeared in your promo video for When You Wish Upon A Star - I was the girl with the white ribbon. What a fun day - You were so sweet, & really made my mum's day by speaking to her - she was a HUGE fan of yours. Been trying desperately to get my hands on a copy of the video to show my daughter - but with no luck. I've checked your albums/DVD's but it was not included on any of them :-( If anyone has any idea where I find the video please please let me know - it must have been nearly 22yrs ago! I hope life is treating you well, and you are surrounded by the happiness that you gave to so many people. Best wishes Rebecca (now aged 37yrs) x

Comments: G'day just thought that i would suggest something, who thinks that Michael would play a perfect Professor Higgins in "My Fair Lady"? I think that he would be perfect for the roll and i think that the young Miss Anne Hatherway would play a beautiful Eliza. i really think that they should remake the movie with them in it.

Comments: Dear Michael,

I met you several times over 20 years ago when you were playing P.T. at the Victoria Palace. I was 12 when I first saw it and fell in love with theatre, and for a long while, you! Still think you're gorgeous by the way! I saw the show 5 times and spent most of my holidays hanging around the stage door just waiting to see you. You even taught me to juggle and showed me the steps to elegance, which I was doing in my dance school show. I was also lucky enough to see you in Phantom in 1987, an experience I will never forget. I think you are absolutely major still, and miss seeing you on our screens here in the UK. Just wanted to say hi.

Comments: Dear Mr. Crawford,

I have been in choir practically all my life. However, the last three years have tried me the hardest. After beginning as a freshman in a women's choir, I met the wonderful Prima donnas, harsh humorless critics and a new choir director every single year I have attended high school ( the position of choir director has been labeled as 'cursed' at our school, whereas myself and other choir students blame it on Marvin, the resident ghost of our School theater). Needless to say a new choir teacher took the position this year. The years before the choir directors would say I had talent and accurate pitch so they constantly put me into the section that was part of the harmony, instead of giving me a solo or the chance to actually sing my real voice part. I auditioned numerous times to join the highest choir and for the first two years, I was accepted and then at the last moment taken off the list. The year before I worked on my sight reading, on my pitch, piano skills, everything and finally made it into the highest choir. And then we got a new choir teacher...and I had to do it all over again so as to assure our teacher I was in the right choir. For the past years, more than any time in my life, I came very close to walking out the door. Choir never seemed to be enjoyable, afterall why work so hard on one aspect to be told constantly you're "not quite there yet, but maybe next year". This is the first year I've had a choir director actually say that I was good enough and surprisingly said I was very mature in my oive and agreed to help me "polish the rough edges". Before my other directos would tell me to hire a voice teacher to improve myself, but they never understood that I didn't have the means to hire a teacher. So I learned anyway I could to improve my voice. I suppose you're wondering what this has to do with you...it does...I promise. This last week I've been auditioning to be part of a special vocal group, of the eight best choir students, two soprano, two alto, two tenor, two base. Today I found out that I had been selected to be one of the sopranos. Today I learned I would be one of the sopranos. I want to thankyou. Whenever I wanted to drop out and turn my back, I would come home and listen to "Music of the night". And at that point I realized I couldn't drop out. I loved music and if I did drop out I'd regret for the rest of my life. Your songs and the passion you sing them with reminds me of why I pushed through the auditioning, the prima donnas. the horrible music critics, and 'The curse of the Choir directors". It's because I do love music and I can't give it up. Thankyou, for reminding why it was finally worth it all. Thankyou, Amvm
