Happy Belated Birthday! sorry it's late, ok i admit i forgot! you can't blame me i'm dealing with six different school projects. one of them was due on Jan. 19th and i turned it in like 9 days late. my teacher sreamed at me "THIS WAS DUE JAN. 19TH!" and i'm sitting there thinking "What else was on the 19th?" (drowning her out of course) then i remembered "O My Goodness!!!! IT WAS MICHAEL'S BIRTHDAY." so i hurried home and made a birthday cake and watched Hello Dolly! all night in appreciation (sp?). so i did make you a cake, know that. i have to go, i'm about to set the kitchen on fire trying to make dinner. thank you for everything you ever did as a Phantom or a jet (Westside Story is awsome). Although I can't be sure you even read these messages, it still gives me a sense of fulfillment to imagine that you may read this. I admit I've only been a die hard fan for about seven months, but I did grow up to the sound of your voice. My mother used to play her Phantom of the Opera CD for us when I was younger, and I recall Music of the Night as my favorite song of the time. I suppose one could consider me as merely a silly fangirl (or Phangirl, if you will,) but I all but swoon when I hear your voice as you sing. Happy belated birthday! My friend and I made a cake and held a little celebration in your honor. You remain for her as well as for me the favorite Phantom, even if you hadn't wanted the role at first. I have been a fan for a long time. I have seen you perform 6 times in various locations throughout the UK. The best day was at the book signing in Windsor, when i asked you for a kiss, and you obliged. I never wanted to wash again. You had lovely soft lips. You need to come to Britain again soon. I would first like to wish you a happy new year mate. Just like to say that i have admired your work for a long time.I got brought up on some mothers do ave em as my mum & dad were such huge fans of yours & the show.I still watch the show now when it is televised & split my sides laughing at it. I just wish i could have come & seen you in phantom but was only 11 years old when phantom first went to the stage but i know someone who did come to see you while you were performing in London & they said you were excellent as the phantom. i have your autobiography which is a brill read, i thoroughly enjoyed it from front cover to back cover.I also have your in concert cd which i listen to a lot, your singing always brightens up my day. You have a fantastic voice Michael, you put so much feeling into your singing & i also feel the energy coming from you when you do sing. You are an inspiration to me as i sing myself, i only sing in the pubs & local clubs & i always give 110% like yourself & enjoy every minute of it. I would love to tread the boards to do some acting aswel as it is something i have always wanted to do from a young age but never done it. But since listening to your music & reading your book, it has made me determined to do a bit of dramatics & beings now that i am 32, i am not getting any younger, ha ha! When are you coming back to England to do some concerts here? Everybody misses you here & would love to see you come back again to do some concert dates & i would love to come & see you in concert as have'nt seen you yet on stage & would really enjoy listening to your music.
May i just take this oppurtunity to say thank you for inspiring me in my music & finaly making the decision to tread the boards

| Comments: | This girl Sarah Afshar recently covered Think of Me and Music of the Night on the Phantom of the Opera and let's just say, her rendition was better than Sarah Brightman's but does not even compare to how Michael Crawford's rendition of Music of the Night is. There is no one on earth that can cover that song as good as he can. He was his own genius. |

| Comments: | Mr. Crawford, As I sit in my room, not being able to sleep (as is obvious since it is 1:30 am) I am watching Hello Dolly, one of my favorite movies by the way. I can't help remembering when my mom first gave me the Ultimate Broadway cd set when I was about 9 or 10. Being so young, I only listened to the songs I knew, until I hit Music of the Night. As soon as I heard your wonderful voice, I ran to my parent's room, to find who it was, my mom said, "why Micheal Crawford of course" since then I have known I want to sing. I always liked to sing, but hearing that song, listening to it over and over again just lit something inside me. Ever since, when people ask me my "heros or idols", I say as a joke, Will Smith and the girl who delivers flowers to my house, and of course they say "no seriously" and my serious answer is, My parents first and fore most, and Micheal Crawford.
