| Comments: | ABOUT THE PHANTOM MOVIE Where is the PASSION? Where is the LOVE? Where is the PAIN? Where is the MAGIC? Where is MICHAEL CRAWFORD?
Oh Mr. A.L. Webber, how could you disappoint so many fans? How could you rob the archives of an UNFORGETABLE MASTERPIECE, had Mr. Crawford played as the Phantom? But most of all, how could you deny that part to the only man who deserved to play it? The man who gave his blood, sweat and tears to create and portray the character. The one and only true Phantom--MICHAEL CRAWFORD. Allow me to remind you of the letter I send you at the beginning of 2004. A letter that was redirected and traveled half way around the world before reaching your office in London. In that letter, I asked you to please tell Mr. Crawford to get himself a new pair of PHANTOM BOOTS and start making THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT. All in vain? Or maybe not meant to be?
I also told you that if you ever wanted SOME MAGIC for your songs or plays to please remember that there is only one man--Mr. MAGIC himself--MICHAEL CRAWFORD.
I am glad Mr. Crawford is in your new musical. {please thank your assistant, Kate Losowsky, for her short letter to me about that } I am sure that every one who saw and will see THE WOMAN IN WHITE has felt and will feel the MAGIC that only Mr. Crawford can create.
Mr. Webber, I do not know if you will ever be able to right the wrong you inflicted on Mr. Crawford--but, I for one can see that you are at least trying, in a small although silent way, to set things right. I commend you for that and hope that this is just the beginning of a respectful working relationship between two phenomenal GENIUSES.

I think you have an amazing voice, ever since I first heard you on The Phantom Of The Opera CD. I can't stop laughing at you in Some mothers Do Ave 'Em! I think your great! Thankyou for replying to the letter I sent you. I can't wait to see you perform in The Woman In White when I come to see it this year!
I have seen the 2005 version of The Phantom Of The Opera movie, but it doesn't even come close to the original Phantom! They should have given you the part of the Phantom!
I really hope that I am lucky enough to have the chance of meeting you one day.

| Comments: | I have just brought Michael's new album, the very best and it is truly amazing.I loved the song somewhere in time and also the song you can get away with anything from his new show.I am 21 yrs old and I only listen to Michael, his voice is sublime, his acting is second to none and the charity work he does proves what a genuine man he really is. | Comments: | I just saw the movie "Phantom of the Opera" and am in shock why Michael Crawford was not picked for the role. I have seen Michael on stage and visualized easily how he could move the role from stage to the big screen. Only his acting and singing brings everything emotional and believable the role requires. It is all our lost Michael - too bad they did not wish a movie to last a long time as a classic! |
