Just couldn't resist the chance to send a message of thanks to the person and voice that help me make through each day. I'm a real vampire (thats a Clinical Laboratory Scientist) who works in a hospital and for part of my work I draw blood from patients. Then we get to run all sorts of test on it. All joking aside its a stress filled work environment when each thing you do affects another persons health and well being. So---on the way to work I play Phantom music to rev me up and love songs to sooth me on the way home. So, Michael, each day your music helps people get well and you don't even know it! Oh yeah--I got a convertible as my mid-life crisis car and love to play Phantom full blast with the top down!! Someone has to drown out those boombox cars. Been a big fan ever since I saw him win the Tony. Waiting (hoping, praying) he comes up to the Pacific Northwest soon so I can see him perform live.

I have been a huge Michael Crawford fan ever since I was 10 years old. He is an extraordinarily talented man who is so generous and down to earth despite fame and fortune. Having the opportunity to meet him was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I have had the greatest pleasure in seeing him in concert twice and they were the most magical nights of my life. Michael's voice soars. i hope he tours Australia again soon. I'll definately be there!!!

Just the other day, during a dinner party with some friends, we asked each other what was the funniest thing we ever saw on TV. Not suprisingly, the top three consisted of British comedy only. And of course our top three also included the (in)famous :-) Frank Spencer (in the episode where he successfully wrecks an entire hotel room). Even though my sister gets extremely nervous watching Some Mothers do 'ave 'em, for me, it's what comedy is all about. It feels I've been watching the show all my live, but it never seems to get out of date and it still gets me 'rolling on the floor with laughter'. Pity I never had a change to see more of Michael Crawford's performances.

Hi my mum is a HUGE Michael crawford Fan and she is coming to London in a few weeks to see me as i am currently here (in uk that is). Is Michael in London at the moment or is he away doing something on stage. I would love to be able to take my mum to see him if it is possible as she has his photo signed in a draw back in Australia and i would love to really treat her to something nice as she is the best mum in the world!

i am 29 years old and in December i went to New York City and i saw you in Dances with vampires. My brother(bless him!) got a chest infection as a result of queueing up in times square so we could get tickets!
i have been a fan since i was 3 years old and i used to watch you in frank spencer, i have followed your career avidly.I could never get to see Phantom when you were performing in London and that made me really sad, so to see you in DOTV was magical for me. i want to thank you for all the pleasure you have given to me and my family through the years. you are inspiration to us all.

Hm...the way these posts are written, it sounds like Mr. Crawford reads these entries. If so, spiffy. Needless to say, I'm not a regular here, but I went to see Dance of the Vampires, and it was the highlight of my stay in NYC. I gather that Michael isn't well, and therefore wish him a speedy recovery. I came to this site to hear music clips that aren't from Phantom... I'm writing a musical and am using Michael's vocal range and style as a sort of springboard for developing music for one of my characters. Lovely site, very helpful; danke to the webmaster and I wish all the best to Michael.

-I hope you are feeling spry and chipper again. I just want you to know how much I have enjoyed your awesome performance in "The Knack..and How to Get it" since I first saw it about a year ago (on TCM), and that you have a lot of new fans who adore your early film work.
It is such an innovative piece of film magic, it still seems so fresh and hip even today; you are a fabulous and uniquely talented actor, with a comedic style like no other.
I really hope to see you on the big screen again if you get the time. Would also love to have DVDs of "The Knack" and "How I Won the War" (another of my favorites) with your audio commentary, that would be awesome, and a real treasure to own. One can always wish!

Hello Mr. Crawford and everyone else. I just wanted to say how frustrating it was seeing Dance of the Vampires close so prematurely. Recently, I was on broadwayworld.com and was viewing a fans choice survey of tony award catergories. And, not to my surprise, Dance was listed in second place in almost all categories, and yes, Michael crawford was listed as the second favorite actor on bway this year! This only goes to show what egotistical critics out for some sort of vengence can do to a perfectly good show. I am so sorry to see it go, and thank God I was able to see it. May all of your future projects be successful, and hopefully we'll once again see vampires dance back on to b-way!

I am 17 and from England. I grew up listening to your music, expecially your role playing the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical. I have never seen you live on the stage, but only on TV and on video/dvd. I regard you as my favourite musical artist. The Phantom of the Opera, happens to be my favourite musical too. I don't know what is happening with the film-version of 'The Phantom'. All I know is that it is in pre-production and Raoul has been cast to Patrick Wilson (according to IMDB.COM). Please could you inform all you fans, and even the knew generations of fans that admire you, if you do have interest in playing the title role in the film version. I don't follow the protests, but I have a common perspective, that you should be the one to represent the Phantom, and no other actor should take this musical through to film. Please, for your fan's sake, join them in expressing your opinion over this matter. Thanks, Rowan.

Dear Michael, I have been a fan of yours from way back. I sent you letters when I saw you in Phantom at the Majestic theatre in NY. What a memorable night. Your voice has always touched my heart and soul. In the late 80's I wrote your agent about starting a fan club. In the 90's one did start Glynis Fuller was president I think that was her name she was british. The MCIFA started and I was one of the first 300 members. However by my fault I lost touch with you and the fanclub I went into punk music, but never forgetting you Michael. Since I heard you were going to be in Dance of the Vampires in which I couldnot see since I moved from NJ to Phoenix, I have a bootleg of the soundtrack and the musical you were wonderful again Michael. Who cares what the critics said I was sorry to see the musical close. I am back now and soon I will be a member of the MCIFA again. This time I am sticking around. I hope you get to read this. I am seeing the phantom of the opera in a week. I've seen it 4 times, but nobody comes close to comparing to your voice in it. I wish and hope you would do a tour in the phantom on broadway. I was 9 years old when you were last in broadway, at that time i had your CD too. But my parents couldn't afford to take me then. Also, I hope you will accept being the phantom in the movie version coming out. I will not watch it unless your the Phantom. Well take care
