I just have to say that you are my favorite singer/actor of all times! I was going to see you in Dance of the Vampires when i go to new york, but it closed. I cant believe it. I have seen clips from it and it looked amazing!! Michael, you are the one who inspired me to try to become an actress. I'm just 16, but i am sure that i want to act, hopefully on Broadway. You are truly blessed with a magnificant voice. I was really hoping to see you on stage, but then Dance of the vampires closed.. i was so sad and its still hard to get over it. Hopefully I will be able to see you on stage eventually.

I have only just got into The Phantom of the Opera and have the Highlights with Micheal in them. I am going to try and buy a copy of the complete score with Micheal as the Phantom. I have been singing along to the CD every night since I got it and now have the ambition of playing Christine Daae. Micheal is by far the best singer I have ever heard. He has such an amazing voice that is full of character and expression! I wish you all the possible luck in your future career Micheal. Bye!

I saw Dance of the Vampires on Jan 18th, and I was sitting next to my mother. She looked at me, grinned and said "There he is, in the flesh". Having recently recieved a reply to a fan mail from him, it was probably the most special occassion imaginable to my younger mind. I adore "Condorman", "Hello Dolly", and "Phantom of the Opera". I dearly, dearly wish I had gotten to a night performance to meet him. Yet I'll never forget that special laugh at the end when I just said to my mother "He's the Phantom again!" and laughed. It was an incredibly special experience, because to me, Michael is the forbidden graven image of gold, and I very much enjoy being blasphemous to the Catholics!!!!!! *LOL*

If Michael should read this, I sincerely hope you recieved my second letter. It shows my appreciation for being able to see the show. Unlike another person I would gladly POUNCE on if he wasn't dead by the time I was born (who else but Nelson Eddy -- very interesting that you two are somehow ironically and distantly linked) ... I got to see you, and idolize you in person!

Go for the Phantom movie, man! We want you!

Hello, as you've read before, my name is Monica Jones and I am 14 yeas old. I would just like to say... gosh i really don't know what to say. I first started listening to you when I was only six. I clearly remember drawing pictures of the phantom of the opera. I believe that your music has made me be able to love all types of music. When I got older, I realized that you had done things BEFORE Phantom of the Opera. So, off the the library I ran to get all the Michael Crawford things I could and my love for you grew even more. In closing I would just like to say thank you for everything. You've been a bright light in the darkest of times.

Hi Michael,

Your voice has the capacity for a quality of honesty that far exceeds anything I have ever encountered. Your voice can even bring tears to my eyes. I have never experienced this with any other music.

It puzzles me why in most of your recordings, you choose to use such heavy instrumentation, and vocal reverbs. This type of production is a contradiction to the truthful quality of your voice.

I think you would strongly appeal to your audience with just pure acappella or sparse accompaniment with a simple instrument or two of songs that you really feel deeply about.

You have a beautiful gift, Michael. Please don't hold back from being your whole true self. Show us what you've been made for.

To the CAST and CREW of DOTV: I had to write my love and thanks for putting on such an energetic, technical, and funny show. You are all enormously talented, and I enjoyed the show very much. You have all proved to be exceedingly good at being supporting players; it will be great fun to watch as your names go into lights over the coming years! Mandy and Max, I expect you’ll soar. Ron, I’ve been curious to see you live for years, and it’s expectation well fulfilled. Liz and Leah, you can shatter my eardrums anytime you’d like; that was some impressive singing and acting. Asa, you had me in stitches all the while you were on stage. Rene, after years of watching you on television and in film, it was an absolute delight to discover your comedic side. What timing! What ad libs! The Entire Cast is extraordinarily talented; your dancing in particular was richly rewarding to watch.

MICHAEL, after years of loving you, what more can I say? Your voice just gets better and better! I love the lower register you’re showing us now. I was tremendously relieved to hear that you aren’t ready to become a gentleman-vintner just yet! I’m looking forward (yes, hungrily) to your next effort, and I’ll be there to cheer you on until we’re both too old to stand—and then I’ll do it from my wheelchair :-)

We are extremely saddened by the closing of the show and our hearts go out to all of you. We saw the show several times and thoroughly enjoyed it every time. We saw other shows (Chicago & Urinetown) which were very good but not the stellar quality of Dance of the Vampires. It had it all: performers, costumes, music & set design was excellent. We pray that God will assist all of you in finding great parts in good shows very soon. God biess you all.

I went to the show on Jan. 10th. It was the first show I have been to in 27 years. The show is fabulous and I am very sorry it has to come to an end. All of the performers are fantastic. Your hard work and talents are greatly appreciated by me and your many fans. I am looking forward to seeing the show again this Friday. BRAVO to all of you.

I regret that I have not had the opportunity to see you perform live. I was recently in NY but I was scheduled to leave before DOTV opened. I have heard you sing and of course I have the "Phantom" soundtrack.

I can not tell you how much you have touched with your singing. I've listened to "Phantom" so many times, and I stil get chills and still cry when I listen to you sing. I have heard all of your songs and I am so impressed! You are truly one of the greatest singers of all time.

I wish you luck in all of your future endeavors. I hope that I will get to see you! Come back out to the West coast for a while!!

I'm thrilled I had the chance to see DOTV in previews and I'm going back on closing night. I probably would have gone more, but I have a 6 week old baby. I was 8 months pregnant when I saw it the first time and the second time will be the first time I'm leaving her, so that should tell you how much I loved the show. I'm sorry the show is closing, but Michael and the cast should be proud. The critics don't know everything.

Dear Michael and DOTV Crew,

What a very sad week this has been. I had a family bereavement which left me devastated. Then, on turning on my computer yesterday, I saw the news of DOTV closure. I was so looking forward to seeing you Michael and the show in London next year and now it seems that will not happen. You have all worked so hard to make this show a success and I think it WAS a success. I loved the video clips and the music I heard on the internet.

I wish each and everyone of you, a much deserved rest and good fortune in the future.
