oh ack...I just found out my mom has cancer today...ran into my room and blared your music at full blast. that was the only thing that made me feel better...thank heaven for small mercies...

Dear Michael, I've got an amazing voice. I have listened the Phantom of the Opera for a year. Now, I'd like to listen to your voice in the truth(?). But I think you don't play the phantom of the opera in London anymore, and I m really sad of it. I just wanted to let a message on this site, 'cause your voice is wonderful, particularly in the Phantom of the Opera.

Please come and do a concert in England, I would love to see you live. You have a fantastic voice and are a wonderful actor. I have read your book, played your cd's & listened to you as the Phantom on the original cast recording, now my greatest wish would be to see you perform live (Especially "Gethsemane, Phantom & Music of the Night - my all time favourites)

A shame I was just a little girl when you performed The Phantom of the Opera in London!I fell in love with the music of the night sung by you.Unfortunatly I wasn't able to see you live on stage yet.Is any european concert in sight? Maybe in Germany...;)

Hi again. You know I was just thinking it would be so nice for Michael to possibly perform in concert over here in England. After all there are quite a few fans of his over here who would just love to hear him sing. I hope he considers it.

Greetings!! Last night, I had the great honor to perform with Michael and Dale at he Florida Hospital Charity Gala in Orlando, Fl. As a professional singer, Michael was a HUGE inspiration to me. And after all these years, to have the chance to share the stage with him was magical.. The voice is still amazing!!

After hearing so much about the Phantom of the Opera during the past few years,I finally decided to see the film(yes I know!)which intrigued me to read the novel especially as I live in the province of Quebec which is predominantly french speaking,Leroux's tale is truly exciting.Anyway I further resolved to see the New York performance on my next visit to N.Y,which I did this year and did enjoy, but it was only after I bought the CD of the original London cast that evening and heard the tremendous voice of Michael Crawford that I truly felt the magic of
the Phantom and really listened to the
enchanting music of Andrew Lloyd Webber,what a wonderful gift he's given to us!
I wished very much to hear Michael in concert and was very fortunate to see him in concert in September this year in Mesa Arizona,I was shocked to be informed there that 150 of his fans were also at my hotel for the performance!! the concert was marvellous,Michael really does connect with his audience,and he shows his empathy,he has'soul'!!

Every October we spend a months holiday at Coolangatta Queensland.On our morning walk we pass someone we always think is you. We swap greetings and that is one of the highlights of our holiday. I forgot one thing-if you ever come to NZ again, you should do a concert in the South Island, because I'm sure there's fans in the South Island who couldn't get to Auckland (such as myself :)
Plus the South Island is just as beautiful as the rest of New Zealand :)

I'm 14 and I'm a total musical theatre nut :). I watched 'Hello, Dolly' recently, and you were just brilliant! Someone else could have played Cornelius Hackl so that he was annoying, but you made him so likeable! I've got the soundtrack to 'Phantom' and I adore that too. It's kind of hard to visualise you as the Phantom because I've only seen you play cheerful characters, but you sound totally Phantom-ish on the CD. And I loved your performance on the 'My Favourite Broadway: The Love Songs'. I just want to say thanks for all the entertainment you've given me, and all the other fans who have been lucky enough to see you perform live. Who knows, maybe when I finally get to Broadway someday you'll still be performing...

I love your phantom preformence

I hav been a HUGE Michael Crawford fan since fisrt hearing his voice in Junior High. He was my first real "Theatre Hero" and I have always kept his book close by. He has always been an inspiration to me and I look forward to many more years of his humor, voice, and (hopefully) more ACTING!! If I hadnt had the wonderful chance to meet Michael in person so many years ago I might never have pursued theatre as a career and enjoyed the life that I do. Thank you so much, Michael! I am required to write an analysis of a character from a play or musical I have seen. I would appreciate if it would be ok if I analyzed you as the Phantom of the Opera. I do listen often to your tape recordings, and the original cast recording. I do sing along, and my Mom can't tell the difference between me or you. I love the music you sing and I am inspired by it. I am a big fan of yours.
I checked in today for a special reason – I THINK that I saw you last week in Oakland, California!
It may sound silly and funny to you or others, but I still can’t convince myself that it wasn’t you.
It was on last Monday or Tuesday (10/17, or 18) in a sunny afternoon, I went for a quick walk along the nearby Lake Merritt during my break as usual. But I spied an unusual figure – a gentleman (seems in his 60’s) with running shoes, blue running shorts and a white T-shirt walking toward me. His unique long legs got me think about you immediately. I stared at his face till he passed by me and then I went “OMG! Can it really be Michael Crawford?” I turned around to watch his back a few times and almost went to ask his name. But I didn’t dare to because I thought it was foolish to even think that you could be anywhere close to Oakland.
But when I watched your DVDs again, I can’t help but thinking the gentleman I saw were you. LOL.
So if you ever read my message, please tell me that I was wrong. I know if I wasn’t, I would be kicking myself for not to stop and say Hi to you when passing by you.
Hope you'll bring your concert to California, especially the Bay Area, some day soon.

I am 23 and the first time I saw Phantom of the Opera was in 1993, 12 years ago. After seeing it for the first time I immediately bought the soundtrack. Your voice was such an inspiration to me that I became involved in theatre. You were my first crush growing up, and have been a true person to admire. I am hoping to go to your concert in Orlando. I think it's really kind of you to be involved in childrens charities, you deserve an award for the worlds kindest man (and the most handsome). I am a huge fan of yours & my greatest wish has always been to see you as the Phantom in London. I have seen the show 6 times in the UK & have enjoyed every single one, but would love to see you in the role, will that ever happen again? I have bought the original cast recording CD of Phantom in London & as everyone else has said, you are the one & only; your voice is amazing.
I've just finished reading your autobiography for the second time, first time 6 years ago & thoroughly enjoyed it as much the second time round, your humour is wonderful, had me in stitches many a time!
I also have the DVD of phantom, but there's no comparison with the stage version, no atmosphere.
