My husband, Terry and I have been fans of yours for many years and still listen to your tapes, music and watch Phantom of The Opera. Right now the songs are "playing" in my head. Hopefully all is well with you and you still have many years of theater in your future.

Loved Michael in everything from some mothers do ave em to Phantom of the opera to his latest the wizard of oz, he is loved all around the world and some mothers are still shown here in the UK 40 years on and still loved.

I have adored you since i fell in love with Frank Spencer at the age of just ten. I am 47 now and still love you! I am so sorry i annoyed you at the stage door of the Victoria Palace theatre in London in 1985. I was a dizzy teenager and i do hope i am forgiven for pestering for your autograph so often. I have written to you actually for forgiveness. I am a senior staff nurse now and no longer hang around stage doors!! You have given so much to so many and i hope you are looking after yourself, you are so precious. God bless you and keep you well and happy.

Mr. Crawford, I have been a fan for many years and love listening to your music. I raised my kids listening to your CDs and gave them a wonderful broad appreciation of music. I am blessed to be able to travel with other musicians to London on a concert tour with Charles Billingsley in July of this year (2015). I have never been out of the U.S. so this will be an exciting time for me, and the realization of a dream to see the country you call home.

Dear Michael...since seeing your performance of Phantom many years ago in Los Angeles I have seen other productions over the years but there were none to compare to your interpretation of the Phantom of the Opera...it was and will always be the very best.You WERE the Phantom I just saw the movie version for the first time...loved the music as always but it wasn't you!! You were very kind after my writing to you about my granddaughter.... to send my granddaughter an autographed picture thanking her for coming to the performance... who at the time was 8 years old and had memorized the tape I had,I had taken both her and her mother to the following years performance again in Los Angeles. We have never forgotten the magic of those plays, they were so special and you made the characters come to life so vividly...thank you for your God given talent. Hey Michael. If you happen to read this, I am the son of Scott Marcellus from Phantom of the Opera. Just thought I would pop in.

You are truly the most magnificent singer I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Of course the first time I heard The Phantom of the Opera as a teenager I was obsessed. I've seen it several times and listened to it millions more since then. I have shared it with all three of my children and they love it as much as I do.
But beyond that, I cannot tell you how many times I have been brought to tears while listening to your version of Bring Him Home. Or sang my heart out along with you in Only You. There are so many more. While all the other cars have rap or the latest hip hop music pouring out of the windows, I blast your favorite love songs and sing as loud as I can.
You are an amazing talent and the world is a far more beautiful place with you in it.

was missing my friend Mort viner . I spoke to mr crawford when i was hanging out with mort one evening , he was a delight . when i read his tribute it was so very comforting , especially the way he said "moort!" it brought back mort for a momment , another one was "1583!" i miss him so much . thank you so much for writing such a perfect picture of what he was like :) best kerby

I first saw you in Hello Dolly when I was nine hrs old. I fell in love with the movie and everyone in it. I still watch it. My grandfather had a nightclub and gave Gene Kelly his first job. He taught my mother a song and dance routine that they performed together! So when Gene Kelly did anything, we had to see it! Which led to a lifelong love of you and Barbra Streisand. I loved you in Phantom and admire your work with children's charities. I am glad you recovered from ME. I am disabled and have a wish that someday I would be able to meet you and hear you perform in concert. Have many of your recordings and PBS concert. My whole family loves you. I am a huge fan of Michael's and have seen practically everything he has done! I am 19 years old now and I grew up listening to his music and watching his comedy. It is my dream to one day meet him. I would like to tell him that even though the Phantom of the Opera was beyond a great show, my favorite of his performances was actually as P.T. Barnum in Barnum. I hope I can one day meet him and tell him that.

Our son Ben is 6 years old. He has asked me to message all his friends. He loves listening to your music. He loves everything you do. Ben has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.Synovial sarcoma. He wants you to pray for him. He has undergone the first round of chemo treatment. It is tough. He admires you so much. Please do this for our baby.

I also what to say Thank You for my very best ever night at the theatre. I was treated to "An Evening with Michael Crawford" in Edinburgh many years ago. It was an unbelievable evening. Full of the magic the theatre can bring, but has never brought me before or since. Songs, memories, super audience involvement and a love for what you were doing and the people in the audience. Thank you so much.
I do hope you will be able to come to London for your investiture.
