Dear Michael, I just wanted to send my love and prayers to you. I know today you will be saying goodbye to your dear friend and mentor Ian Adams. It will probably be one of the hardest days of your life. May God bless you and comfort you and whenever you are ready to tape your PBS special and return to the stage your fans will be there ready to welcome you back with open arms. Ians great talent will live on in you and all the other artist he helped train. I'm sure he is looking down at you right now and just so proud of you.

Michael, I am sorry that Ian passed away.
I know that you will miss him so much, he meant alot to you and your fans for making your voice as lovevly as it is.

Just an update: the quiz show I auditioned for, I didn't get in! I feel so bad...I love you so much, I really wanted to prove myself as a fan. :( . Oh well, at least I'm currently registering for Austalia's Got Talent.

Just wanted to say what an inspiration you are to our family. Our son Jack has downs syndrome and idolises you. Have tried for a long time to get in touch - your swap shop moment still makes us cry!!!

Jack was predicted to live 3 days - he will be 6 on wednesday!!

I was wondering if there is a recording of Billy Lier amongst your wonderful recordings. I love your work and have been a fan for a long time. I would like to find a copy if possible as I knew Gay Soper who appeared in the stage show with you. Unfortunatly I did not get to see the stage production and hope a video or DVD recording is available.

i just wanted to see how everything was going. i hope you've been doing well.
i just went to go see The Lion King on stage and I met Timothy Carter who played Scar. i mentioned how he had that sort of feel that you had as the Phantom. not really evil but not really heroic, we got to talking about you and he said that you were a really great actor/singer.
so that has been the highlight of my year so far.

Hi Michael. I feel in love with your singing when I first heard you sing music of the night in my 8th grade choir class. I was so excited when I got to see you in concert in Salt Lake in my 9th grade year and have been hoping and waiting for you to return. I was absolutely thrilled to find this site, what a treasure trove there is here. What a tribute to one of the finest voices and performers of our time. What I love about listening to Michael's voice is how he's able put so much power into a song, yet restrain it admirably.

Besides the "Phantom" music, of course, my favorites are "On Eagles' Wings", a song I have been blessed to sing many times, and "When You Wish Upon A Star" -- how many people, young and old, have taken the words of that great song to heart (don't laugh, skeptics -- the songs in Disney movies are among the most well-crafted anywhere)

in Some Mothers do ave 'em. I then loved you as the Phantom. I have many of your CD's and videos but would love to see you live, so if you ever decide to perform at the Bournemouth International Centre you can guarantee I will be in the front row.

Mr. Crawford, I thought the best phantom's are yourself & Mr. Wilkinson.

what was it like the firt night you played the part?

I'm a new fan of yours just within the past year. When I heard Music of the Night, I cried. I went out to get everything I could of yours. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gift to the world. You are an amazingly talented actor. Someone so devoted and so passionate is so rare nowadays. And despite your numerous fans you are so grounded.

When I read that you were in Connecticut in Oct 2005, an hour away, I cried. Then I remembered seeing your poster inside Foxwoods in the weeks before you went, and I thought of how handsome you were. It was just a random memory before I even knew who Michael Crawford was lol. I wish I was a fan earlier, I would have paid anything to see you there live.

My one regret is that after I split up

hello michael crawford i think that your a really excellent actor and your my favourate of all time, i got all series of some mothers do ave em and they always make me laugh and yor a really good phantom to, whats your favourate song from the phantom of the opera? mines the music of the night.

Tonight I sang backup for Michael Crawford at Harrah's Lake Tahoe. He was such a professional, and it was an amazing experience getting to sing with such a legend. After the show we were invited to meet with him, and take pictures etc.

It was an amazing experience that I thought I'd share.

I did travel quite aways to see you, however it was worth it just to hear your story about the boat over heating and Sarah Brightman catching on fire. you can't blame me i'm dealing with six different school projects.
one of them was due on Jan. 19th and i turned it in like 9 days late. my teacher sreamed at me "THIS WAS DUE JAN. 19TH!" and i'm sitting there thinking "What else was on the 19th?" (drowning her out of course) then i remembered "O My Goodness!!!! IT WAS MICHAEL'S BIRTHDAY." so i hurried home and made a birthday cake and watched Hello Dolly! all night in appreciation (sp?). so i did make you a cake, know that.
i have to go, i'm about to set the kitchen on fire trying to make dinner.

Although I can't be sure you even read these messages, it still gives me a sense of fulfillment to imagine that you may read this. I admit I've only been a die hard fan for about seven months, but I did grow up to the sound of your voice.
My mother used to play her Phantom of the Opera CD for us when I was younger, and I recall Music of the Night as my favorite song of the time. I suppose one could consider me as merely a silly fangirl (or Phangirl, if you will,) but I all but swoon when I hear your voice as you sing.
Happy belated birthday! My friend and I made a cake and held a little celebration in your honor. You remain for her as well as for me the favorite Phantom, even if you hadn't wanted the role at first. Best wishes in all that you do, and much (much) unrequited love,

Michael....I just had to write something, just watched Barnum on DVD for the thousandth time...I will never tire of listening and watching you perform. I have been a fan for a long time. I have seen you perform 6 times in various locations throughout the UK. The best day was at the book signing in Windsor, when i asked you for a kiss, and you obliged. I never wanted to wash again. You had lovely soft lips. You need to come to Britain again soon. So i can get a new kiss. Thank you Michael for being such an inspiration in my life.

I've read your book, watched your concerts. You are a very special, talented man and so unaffected.
My grandson is six and has started watching reruns of Some mothers do have them. I have never seen him laugh so much. Could you please advise when you are planning to come back to Australia? We would love to see you live in concert. It doesn't matter where you would be performimg. We would travel.
