| Comments: | I do believe my favorite is your Christmas album with "Eagles' Wings" running a close second. Of course "Phantom" is fantastic and you will never be forgotten for that portrayal but I indeed think that "Barnum" was such fun (and indeed hard work as well.) Thank you for all you do to benefit your fellow inhabitants of this planet and Happy Birthday in advance. Knowing where you were on Broadway last year I sent a card that you actually received! My youngest grand-daughter was born 1/19/03 - and she sings! |

| Comments: | G'day Michael! Congratulations to you and your staff for a wonderful website and good luck with all the fundraising for your various charities. I myself have found out that good things come to those who wait so may you receive all your dreams come true very soon.
Your role in "Phantom" interests me and how the phantom suffers in anguish. Unfortunately, it happens just like that to the dearly departed souls who cannot yet touch the face of God until their hearts and minds are put to rest. As a researcher of the paranormal, crimes, horrendous murders and a multitude of many other facets of research - I believe "Phantom" is perfect to teach the living about the dead. If ever you are in Australia, come on a history tour with Destiny Tours in actual haunted cadillac hearses designed for passengers to fit vertically. The experience will change your life forever.
Check my team out at www.destinytours.com.au and don't leave the best ride of your life till last. Regards Maree |

| Comments: | Hi-De-Hi!!! I bet you've never had anyone greet you like that!!! I first became a fan when I FINALLY listened to my copy of the cast recording of the Phantom of the Opera on vinyl that I'd bought on a record stall an absolute age ago but hadn't listened to it (don't ask me why, because I just don't know), & at first it scared the living beejesus out of me (the word garrotted appears twice in the libretto, for God's sake) but then I got used to it & I now totally adore (& feel sorry for) the 'Opera Ghost' & I listen to it practically every day without fail!!! You probably think I'm mad as a hatter but you are totally fabulous in it!!! Now I'm just milking it!!! Anyway, there was an episode of Some Mother's Do 'Ave 'Em on BBC2 a couple of weeks ago, the one with 'me Vesuvius' in & I sort of fell in love with Frank Spencer!!! God bless his cotton socks!!! I'm going to try & join when I've got enough money & I'll try to get your autobiography soon, too!!! Anyway, keep being fabulous & I hope to talk to you soon or you could just send me an e-mail!! Ta-ra for now!! Please make sure Michael reads this, I'll be eternally gratefull!! I like the site, by the way!!! This really is ta-ra now!!! |

| Comments: | Dear Michael,
I don't know if you read the messages of your fans, but I hope you'll read mine. I've been a "phan" of "Phantom of the Opera" for a bit over 10 years. Since then, it has haunted my dreams, and it was always your voice I heard as the Phantom.
Whenever I listen to "A Touch of Music in the Night", your voice lulls me to sleep, and I can't help but smile. You've given me such a warm, fuzzy feeling, and I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Love always, Heather xoxo P.S.: I hope you'll visit Montreal someday soon. |

| Comments: | HI, Michael!!!!!!! Guess what??? I heard The Phantom of the Opera medley last night!!!!!!!!! The Reading Choral Society group performed, and then there it was!!!! After that concert I went to last night, I saw my aide and her boyfriend, and guess what her boyfriend did? He WINKED at me!!!!! I was like, "Oh, my gosh! He is so cute! He actually winked at me!" Anyway, that's what happened last night. I am all tingly now!!!!! Oh, and sorry about the last message I posted. I was confused about the things I wanted to tell you. Another thing: I am writing an opera called Irish Lace. My friend Priscilla is not a big fan of operas. *cries* I wish she would be!!! But anyway, I LOVE operas!!! One more thing: when are you coming to Philadelphia to perform? I would love to meet you in person. And besides, you're the greatest!!!

I will be joining the fan club very soon. I wish you accepted paypal so I can join right away, but I'll have to settle for the slow post I suppose.

| Comments: | Michael, you have to be the most phenomenal singer that I have ever heard! The first time that I heard you sing, I was crying...I remember growing up listening up to the Phantom of the Opera, particularly the Music of the Night to put me to sleep and to put my mind at ease, since I was so scared of the dark when I was younger. I just wish that I would have been able to see you on Broadway. (I finally got to go this year to see it in NY, and I am going again in December!!!) I frequently go on Ebay to find videos and pictures of you from on Broadway, since I would like to at least experience what it was like for those who were a little older than I was at the time. I own all of your CD's, your DVD's, and book. You have inspired so many people to sing because of your beautiful voice, thank you so very much for helping me to find mine again, and helping me find something in my life that makes me so very happy!!! :) |

| Comments: | Hi!
A good artist also has to cope with criticism. And I think there really has to be a word of criticism concerning the way Michael Crawford disfigured "Dance of the Vampires" on Broadway. The show was great before, it had just the right measure of humor, profoundness, vivality and of course *death* - There was no need of making a flat and ridiculous show out of it only because Mr. Crawford didn't want to have the role of Krolock so similar to the role of Phantom. The figure of the count originally is full of grace, sublimeness and mystery. I am sure that if Steve Barton had played the role "Dance of the Vampires" would have been played a LOT longer on Broadway for he respected this character of Krolock.
So I am sorry to say that it is really a shame what Mr. Crawford did to this wonderful figure and this great musical.
This is not a personal offensive As I have already said above - this is only criticism.

| Comments: | Just rediscovered POTO and MC after approximately 12 or 13 years (when MC left CA to tour with ALW Concert).
So much has happened! Had to catch up and purchase all the CD's and videos released. Unfortunately, missed 1998 concert but at least there's a video.
Great fun but a bit painful to watch "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em" but last two shows on #4 video cassette were enjoyable with stunts on motorbike and singing to baby Jessica.
POTO is back at the Ahmanson Theater 10/03 to 12/03 in Los Angeles - won't be the same without MC though! |
